The Portfolio Management Service has been designed to provide existing clients with a regular monitoring and management of their investments arranged through the company. It is necessary to ensure that your investments are regularly managed to obtain the best possible result in given circumstances. This is particularly the case during the current highly volatile global economic conditions. The PMS methodology is described as follows:

Accumulated Funds

The fund selection for accumulated funds is on the basis of a cautious risk profile. I believe that it is important to be cautious or at least risk averse with the funds that you have accumulated thus far. Temple Bar Asia believes that it is far better to try to consolidate the gains and achieve growth on growth with the funds. The asset split should vary subject to a regular assessment of market conditions and trends and risk profile.

Regular Contributions

It is, however, beneficial to select more volatile funds for the on-going contributions in order to benefit from dollar/pound cost averaging i.e. the purchase of cheaper units that will have the effect of enhancing investment performance in the mid-long term.

Quarterly Reports

Portfolio selection is currently based upon a fund of up to 16 funds at any given time, the constituent parts of which will be constantly reviewed in order to ensure that the portfolio is actively managed. A quarterly report will provide full details of the various funds, performance data and risk ratings together with a rationale for any changes that will be made and any commentary that is appropriate at the time.  The report will include a valuation of your funds and therefore you will have an on-going record of the investment performance.

Management Fees

Temple Bar Asia's fee is 1% per annum of the funds under management payable quarterly in advance. Please note that these fees are intrinsic and payable by the product provider. The system allows for your Temple Bar Asia representative to be appointed as the fund adviser and therefore there is no need to charge fees direct to the client.
